To install the Hampton Bay 4183 RT Wickford 1-Light Outdoor Pendant, follow these steps:

1. Before starting installation, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse at the fuse box.

2. Attach the mounting unit (AA) to the junction box with the provided mounting screws (BB) and remove the pre-installed  xxxx  collar ring.

3. Place the canopy (B) over the pre-installed  xxxx  collar loop on the mounting unit (AA). Turn the  xxxx  collar ring until 1/2 of the  xxxx  collar loop threads are exposed.

4. Secure the chain (C) to the  xxxx  collar loop on the canopy (B). Leave the electrical wires and ground wires through the chain (C), canopy (B), and the center of the mounting unit (AA).

5. Connect the copper wire from the light fixture (A) to the mounting unit (AA) by securing it with the pre-installed ground  xxxx .

6. Connect the black wire to black (power), the white wire to white (neutral), and the copper wire to the ground wire using wire nuts (CC). Make sure to match the wire colors correctly.

7. Secure the canopy (D) to the mounting unit (AA) with the  xxxx  collar ring.

8. Install one E26 100-watt bulb (not included) into the light fixture.

9. Finally, turn the light switch on to activate the fixture.
