To install the Traxxas KC2993-R02 Sledge Sway Bar Kit on your RC vehicle, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Start by identifying the front and rear sway bars included in the kit. The kit also contains different color bands that indicate the stiffness of the sway bars.
2. Begin with the front sway bar installation. Thread the 3x4mm GS screws into the holes on the sway bar mounts until they touch the bar. Then, back off slightly to allow the sway bar to pivot freely.
3. Attach the front linkage to the sway bar mounts using the provided 2.5x10mm BCS screws. Make sure to tighten them securely.
4. Repeat the same process for the rear sway bar installation, following the instructions for the rear installation, which are similar to the front installation.
5. Depending on your desired handling characteristics, you can adjust the stiffness of the sway bars by using the different color bands provided. Refer to the chart in the manual to determine which color band to use for your specific needs.
6. To adjust the sway bars, remove the collars from the sway bar mounts and slide the desired color band onto the sway bar. Then, reattach the collars.
7. It is important to tighten the 3x4mm GS screws completely to secure the sway bars to the vehicle.
