To configure the sauermann KIMO CP 116 Atmospheric Pressure Sensor, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the transmitter is not energized before making any connections or settings.
2. To make electrical connections, refer to the NFC15-100 standard and make sure a qualified and trained technician performs the connection.
3. For models with 0-10 V or 4-20 mA output (active, 4 wires), you can make a 3-wire connection by connecting the output ground to the input ground before powering up the transmitter.
4. For models with 4-20 mA output (passive), follow the electrical connections as per the manual.
5. To configure the transmitter, it must not be energized. Unscrew the 4 screws from the housing and open it to access the DIP switches.
6. Use the DIP switches to make the required settings. Follow the combinations provided in the manual carefully. If the combination is incorrect, the display will show "CONF ERROR." In that case, unplug the transmitter, correct the DIP switch settings, and then power it up.
7. To set the type of analog output, use the on-off switch of the output as shown in the manual.
8. To set the measurement unit, use the on-off switches 2, 3, and 4 of the units as indicated in the table provided in the manual.
9. If you have the LCC-S software option, you can also configure the transmitter using the software. Set the DIP switches accordingly and connect the LCC-S cable to the transmitter.
10. Note that you cannot combine DIP switch configuration and software configuration. Choose one method for configuration.
