To mount the UMI UM19054AU 15M Retractable Air Hose Reel, follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location: Do not mount the hose reel outdoors or on a vehicle. It should be mounted under cover in an area not directly exposed to weather. Select a location where you can mount the reel to a load-bearing structural member capable of supporting the combined weight of the reel, hose, and forces caused by pulling or maneuvering the hose. Mounting the reel near the air compressor may be desirable for convenience.
2. Mount the reel: Once you have chosen a location, follow the instructions below to mount the hose reel:
a. Ensure that the mounting surface is secure and capable of supporting the weight.
b. Attach the mounting plate to the desired location using the provided bolts, anchors, and expanding sleeves.
c. Attach the hose box to the mounting plate using the provided screws.
d. Install the guide roller bracket onto the hose box using the provided screws.
e. Attach the hose stopper to the guide roller bracket using the provided screws.
f. Securely fasten the hose reel assembly to the mounting plate using the provided bolts, anchors, and expanding sleeves.
