The Wharfedale Linton speakers should be positioned with the treble units facing inwards, which means the W badge on the grilles should be towards the outside. Additionally, it is recommended to keep the front grilles on for optimum listening performance, as they aid in drive unit dispersion. If the speakers are placed too close to the walls, the bass may increase but become boomy and indistinct. On the other hand, if the speakers are placed further away from the walls, you can increase the inward angle ("toe in") by up to 30%. It is advised to experiment with different configurations and play a wide range of program material to find the best position for your speakers.
