To install the QSC AD-P.HALO Integrated Subwoofer/Satellite Pendant Loudspeaker System, follow these steps:
1. Suspend the Loudspeaker:
- Before attaching the snap hook to the loudspeaker, anchor the hanger cable to a suitable structural member.
- Insert the wire cable into the appropriate hole in the slip-lock fastener.
- Loop the cable over the structural member where the loudspeaker is to hang.
- Insert the cable through the other hole in the fastener.
- Adjust the length of the cable hang so the snap hook is at the desired height.
- Repeat for the other hanger cables.
- Attach both snap hooks to the suspension tab on the loudspeaker.
2. Wire the Loudspeaker:
- Use insulated twisted pair stranded copper wire of an adequate gauge to minimize resistive losses.
- The AD-P.HALO loudspeaker has a four-pole connector with two parallel pairs of terminals.
- Connect the wires from the amplifier to the + and - terminals of the Euro-style connector.
- To daisy-chain to another loudspeaker, route a second wire pair through the gland and attach them to the THRU terminals of the input Euro-style connector.
- Plug the connectors into their respective locations and tighten their retaining screws.
- Secure the wires to a hanger cable using the provided tie-wraps.
