To install the ELCO Lighting ERT685CT5DHW 6 Inch LED High Lumen Round Reflector Insert, follow these steps:
1. Determine the type of application: new construction or remodel.
- For new construction, a mounting plate or frame is required.
- For remodel applications, no additional accessories are needed.
2. Prepare the ceiling:
- Ensure the ceiling is suitable for installation and can support the fixture.
- Cut a hole in the ceiling with a maximum size of 6 1/4" for this product.
- Use the provided hole cut out template for accurate hole size.
3. Connect the driver:
- Connect the driver to a 120-277V power supply.
- The driver is included with the fixture.
4. Choose the desired color temperature (CCT):
- The fixture has a manual switch that allows you to select between 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K.
5. Choose the desired lumen output:
- The fixture has a lumen switch that allows you to choose between 1000 (12W), 1250 (16W), 1500 (19W), 2000 (25W), or 2500 (32W) lumens.
6. Install the fixture:
- For new construction, use the provided mounting plate or frame to secure the fixture in place.
- For remodel applications, directly install the fixture without any additional accessories.
- The fixture has a high-strength steel spring clip for easy installation.
7. Adjust dimming options (if applicable):
- The fixture is dimmable and works with 120V Triac/ELV type dimmers.
- It can also be dimmed with 0-10V dimmers on 120/277V and Triac/ELV dimmers on the 120V side.
- Refer to the Dimmer Compatibility List for a full list of compatible dimmers.
8. Ensure compliance and safety:
- The fixture is IC-rated for direct contact with insulation.
- It is ETL listed for wet locations and Title 24 JA8-2019 compliant.
- The fixture comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
