To mount the SW-MOTECH GPT.05.987.60000/B URBAN ABS topcase system on your motorcycle, please follow these steps:
1. Remove the passenger seat from your vehicle.
2. Remove the screws and passenger grip from both sides of the vehicle.
3. Insert the plastic plugs into the ends of the mounting struts.
4. Clean the marked areas of the mounting struts thoroughly.
5. Affix the rubber stripes to the marked areas of the mounting struts.
6. Attach the mounting struts on both sides to the vehicle using liquid thread locker. Do not fully tighten the screws yet.
7. If you are also mounting the SW-MOTECH side carrier at the same time, skip steps 7 and 8 and attach the parts of the side carrier instead.
8. Attach the spacers with the original screws and washers to the vehicle. Use liquid thread locker and tighten the screws with the manufacturers' specified torque.
9. Attach the luggage rack onto the mounting struts using liquid thread locker. Once all parts are evenly positioned without excess tension, tighten the screws as specified in the parts list. Tighten the screws with the manufacturers' specified torque.
10. Reattach the passenger seat to the vehicle.
