To mount the protective guard for grinding, follow these steps:
1. Turn the black plastic ring until the groove on the ring meets the slot for the nose on the clamping lever.
2. Place the protective guard with the four noses in the four grooves on the bearing seat.
3. Press the protective guard downwards and turn it clockwise into the required working position. The clamping lever will automatically secure the protective guard in place.
Make sure to adjust the protective guard in such a way that sparking is prevented in the direction of the operator. The encoding keys on the protective guard ensure that only a guard that fits the machine type can be mounted.
Note: If the grinding disc breaks during operation or if there is damage to the holding fixtures on the protective guard or power tool, the machine should be sent to an after-sales service agent for maintenance.
