To install and commission the HEITRONIC 35460 Weatherproof Power Distributor, please follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the connection lines in the building before installation and secure them against being switched back on by tripping the corresponding fuse switch in the building installation.
2. Choose a suitable location for the power distributor, ensuring that no water can accumulate around its position.
3. Make sure the surface where you will mount the power distributor is sturdy, level, and non-tilting. It should be able to support the weight of the power distributor in an upright position.
4. Before connecting any consumers, ensure that the maximum capacity of the power distributor is not exceeded.
5. Pay attention to possible tripping hazards when laying the cable, especially in walking areas.
6. Ensure that the cables and plugs are not subject to tension or torsional forces. Protect all cables and insulation against possible damage.
7. Double-check the proper connection of the power distributor.
8. Switch the building installation's fuse switch back on.
