To install the KUFATEC 39702 DAB - DAB+ Integration in your vehicle, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Disconnect the power supply by cutting off the battery from the vehicle's electric system, following the manufacturer's specifications.
2. Choose a suitable location to place the FISTUNE Interface. It is recommended to fix it under the radio box.
3. Remove the lining in front of the radio box and unscrew all 4 bolts to pull out the complete box carefully to the front.
4. If your vehicle does not have a DAB tuner ex works, follow the instructions on page 7 of the manual. This involves establishing connections between the radio box, removed fiber cable, and the FISTUNE using the delivered optical fiber cable and wiring set.
5. If your vehicle has a DAB tuner ex works, follow the instructions on page 10 of the manual. This involves removing the plugs of the DAB tuner, mounting the FISTUNE in the same position, and connecting the removed 8 pole plug and optical fiber cable from the old tuner to the FISTUNE using the delivered adapter.
6. After making the necessary connections, carry out sufficient functioning tests to ensure everything is working properly.
7. Once the tests are successful, reassemble everything in the reverse sequence.
