To install and set up the CONCEPTRONIC POR 1200 Outdoor PoE Plus Repeater, please follow these steps:
1. Mounting: Use the provided mounting kit to securely attach the repeater to a pole or other suitable outdoor structure.
2. Connection: Connect the Power Sending Equipment (PSE), such as a PoE-Plus switch, to the "IN" port of the POR-1200 using an Ethernet cable.
3. Daisy Chaining: If you want to extend the range further, you can daisy chain multiple POR-1200 repeaters. To do this, connect the "OUT" port of one repeater to the "IN" port of the next repeater using Ethernet cables.
4. Power and Data: Connect the device you want to extend the PoE connection to the "OUT" port of the POR-1200 using an Ethernet cable. If the device requires power, make sure it is compatible with 802.3af/at PoE.
5. Power Supply: The POR-1200 does not require an additional power supply as it receives power from the PSE. Ensure that the PSE is providing sufficient power to support the connected devices.
6. Plug and Play: Once all the connections are made, the POR-1200 will start extending the PoE connection to the remote device automatically. No additional software or configuration is required.
