Error code E1 on the CaterChef 688.087 Electric Rice Cooker indicates an open circuit in the bottom of the cooker. This could be caused by a loose connection of the sensor in the bottom, cut wires to the sensor, a broken sensor, or a broken PCB (printed circuit board).
