To install and set up the equip POR 1220 Outdoor Gigabit plus PoE Repeater, please follow these steps:
1. Determine the ideal location for the repeater, keeping in mind that it should be within the range of your existing PoE network and the device you want to extend the connection to.
2. Mount the repeater using the included mounting kit. Ensure that it is securely attached to a pole or other suitable surface.
3. Connect the Ethernet cable from your PoE power source (e.g., PoE switch) to the "IN" port of the POR-1220 repeater.
4. Connect an Ethernet cable from the "OUT" port labeled "PoE" to the device that requires both power and data.
5. If you have another device that only requires data, connect an Ethernet cable from the "OUT" port labeled "non-PoE" to that device.
6. Verify that the power and PoE indicators on the repeater are illuminated, indicating a successful connection.
7. Repeat the above steps if you want to daisy-chain multiple POR-1220 repeaters to further extend the range of your PoE network.
