To install and set up the CONCEPTRONIC POR 1202 2 Port Outdoor PoE Plus Repeater, follow these steps:
1. Determine the ideal location for the repeater. It should be placed within the range of your PoE devices and have a stable power source.
2. Mount the repeater using the included mounting kit. Ensure that it is securely attached to a pole or other suitable surface.
3. Connect the Ethernet cable from your PoE switch or injector to the "IN" port of the repeater. This port will receive both power and data.
4. Connect the Ethernet cables from your PoE devices to the "OUT" ports of the repeater. These ports will extend the power and data to the devices.
5. Verify that the connections are secure and properly seated.
6. Power on your PoE switch or injector to provide power to the repeater and connected devices.
7. The repeater will automatically start forwarding power and data to the connected devices. There is no need for any additional configuration or software installation.
8. Check the indicator lights on the repeater to ensure it is receiving power and forwarding power and data to the connected devices.
Note: The maximum distance that can be extended depends on the required Wattage of the PoE devices. Please refer to the product manual for specific details and limitations.
