To connect the Mercury LUX KM3KM LDMOS Power Amplifier to your transceiver, follow these steps:
1. Connect the RF-IN of the amplifier to the RF-OUT of your transceiver using an appropriate coaxial cable.
2. Connect the output of the amplifier (ANT-1) to a 50-ohm load or to your desired antenna.
3. Connect the RCA PTT terminals from the amplifier to the PTT port on your transceiver. Note: Do not connect a Soft-Key Keying Interface Box, as it may affect the sequencing of the RF Band Decoder.
4. If necessary, connect the ALC input on the amplifier to the ALC output on your transceiver. This is optional and may require adjustment (refer to the manual for details).
5. Ensure that the transceiver is set to minimum power output (1-5 watts) before powering on the amplifier.
