To install the DOH-1100 Domed Outdoor Housing Camera, please follow the steps below:
1. Choose a suitable location: Select a location for the housing that provides a clear view of the area you want to monitor. Ensure that the mounting surface is sturdy and can support the weight of the housing.
2. Mount the housing: Use the provided wall mounting set to securely attach the housing to the desired location. Follow the instructions in the manual for proper installation.
3. Connect the camera: Inside the housing, there is a simple internal mounting bracket that allows for easy installation of compatible LevelOne network cameras (such as FCS-1041, FCS-6020, and WCS-6020/-6050). Attach the camera to the bracket following the camera's installation instructions.
4. Connect the power: Use the included power adapter to connect the housing to a power source. Ensure that the power supply meets the requirements specified in the manual.
5. Adjust the dome temperature: The DOH-1100 features an automatic temperature control system. The built-in fan turns on when it is hot, and the built-in heater turns on when it is cold. This ensures that extreme weather conditions do not affect camera viewing or operation.
6. Test and configure: Once the installation is complete, test the camera and housing to ensure proper functionality. Refer to the camera's user manual for instructions on configuring and accessing the camera's features and settings.
