To properly ground the Tektronix TMT4 Margin Tester, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the product is disconnected from the power source.
2. Locate the grounding conductor of the mainframe power cord. This is the third prong on the power cord.
3. Connect the grounding conductor to a suitable earth ground. This can be a grounding rod or a metal water pipe.
4. Do not disable the power cord grounding connection.
5. Before making any connections to the input or output terminals of the product, verify that the product is properly grounded.
