To clean the CENTEK CT-1458 Steam Cooker, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and let it cool down before cleaning.
2. Wipe the outer and inner surfaces of the base unit with a damp cloth.
3. The removable components, such as the bowls, tray, and lid, can be washed in a dishwasher.
4. If there are mineral deposits or scale buildup on the steamer, it is recommended to remove the scale every 3 months. Prepare approximately 1 liter of scale remover solution following the manufacturer's instructions.
5. Install the steam tube, drip tray, one bowl, and the lid. Turn the steamer on for 25 minutes.
6. Disconnect the unit from the power supply and let it cool down to room temperature.
7. Drain the scale remover solution.
Please note that the extreme conditions inside the appliance may affect its coating, but such damage may only be superficial and does not affect the functionality of the unit.
Remember to always clean the appliance before storage and ensure that it is in a clean state before taking it to a service center for any repairs or maintenance.
