1. Start by unpacking the contents of the kit and familiarize yourself with the components, including the rod, finials, brackets, screws, and any other included accessories.
2. Determine the desired length for your curtain rod. The ER1011-02 kit is extendable from 66 to 120 inches, so you can adjust it according to your window size.
3. If you are using the 2-piece rod, connect the two rod pieces together by inserting one end into the other. Make sure they are securely connected.
4. If you are using the 3-piece rod, connect the middle rod piece to the two end rod pieces. Insert the end rod pieces into the openings on the middle rod piece and ensure they are firmly connected.
5. Once the rod is assembled, position the brackets on the wall where you want to install the curtain rod. The brackets should be evenly spaced and aligned horizontally.
6. Use a level to ensure the brackets are straight. Mark the xxxx hole locations on the wall using a pencil or marker.
7. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations to make it easier to insert the screws.
