To install the Honeywell Searchline Excel Plus Alignment Scope, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you are a fully trained personnel, trained by Honeywell Analytics or an authorized Honeywell Analytics trainer. Installation and alignment should only be performed by trained individuals.
2. Refer to the Technical Manual for detailed information on installation and alignment. You can download the Technical Manual from the Honeywell website at www.sps.honeywell.com.
3. Before installation, do not attempt to adjust the cross-hairs using the Alignment Scope's elevation and windage adjusters as they have been factory set.
4. Align the Alignment Scope's spacers with the instrument's cowling gap precisely before locking the fitting. Full details on this step are provided in the Technical Manual.
5. If the Alignment Scope is damaged or misaligned, it must be returned to the factory for repair or realignment.
