To start a wash cycle on the Whirlpool washing machine, you can choose between two programming options: Rapid programming or Traditional programming.
Rapid Programming:
1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the machine. The START/PAUSE indicator light will flash slowly green.
2. Open the door and load the laundry, making sure not to exceed the maximum load quantity indicated in the Wash Cycle Table.
3. Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer and pour the detergent into the relevant compartments as described in the "DETERGENT DISPENSER DRAWER" section.
4. Close the door.
5. Press the PUSH & GO button to start the wash cycle.
Traditional Programming:
1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the machine. The START/PAUSE indicator light will flash slowly green.
2. Open the door and load the laundry, making sure not to exceed the maximum load quantity indicated in the Wash Cycle Table.
3. Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer and pour the detergent into the relevant compartments as described in the "DETERGENT DISPENSER DRAWER" section.
4. Close the door.
5. Use the WASH CYCLE selector xxxx to select the desired wash cycle. The duration of the cycle will appear on the display.
6. Modify the temperature and/or spin speed if desired. Press the TEMPERATURE button to adjust the temperature and the SPIN button to adjust the spin speed.
7. Select any desired options using the OPTION button.
8. Press the START/PAUSE button to start the wash cycle. The indicator light will light up steady green and the door will lock.
Note: Make sure to follow the instructions provided in the user manual for the specific wash cycle you choose, as different cycles have different temperature and spin speed settings.
