Cleaning the Hamilton Beach 38519RK Durathon Ceramic Griddle Electric is easy. Here are the steps:
1. Turn the temperature dial to the MIN setting and unplug the griddle.
2. Allow the griddle to cool completely.
3. Remove the power cord and drip tray.
4. Wash the griddle and drip tray with hot, soapy water using a plastic or nylon scouring pad.
5. Rinse the griddle and drip tray thoroughly and dry them.
6. The drip tray can be washed on the top rack of a dishwasher if desired.
7. Clean the removable power cord with a damp cloth.
8. Do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive cleansers as they can damage the ceramic coating.
