To connect your devices to the Optoma HD72 projector, follow these steps:
1. Power on the projector and ensure it is in standby mode.
2. Locate the input ports on the back of the projector. The HD72 has various input options, including HDMI, component video, S-video, and composite video.
3. Depending on the device you want to connect, choose the appropriate cable. For HDMI, use an HDMI cable. For component video, use a component video cable with three RCA connectors (red, green, and blue). For S-video, use an S-video cable. For composite video, use a composite video cable with a yellow RCA connector.
4. Connect one end of the chosen cable to the corresponding output port on your device (e.g., HDMI output on a Blu-ray player).
5. Connect the other end of the cable to the corresponding input port on the projector. Ensure a secure connection.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for any additional devices you want to connect.
7. Once all connections are made, power on your devices (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console) and select the appropriate input source on the projector using the "Input" button on the remote control or the projector's control panel.
8. The projector should now display the content from your connected device.
