To install the Emerson 1C20-102 thermostat, follow these steps:
1. Assemble the tools required for installation.
2. Disconnect the electrical power to the system at the main fuse or circuit breaker.
3. Remove the old thermostat by labeling each wire with the terminal designation it was removed from and unscrewing the mounting screws.
4. Mount the base and adaptor plate (if included) of the new thermostat to the wall using the provided screws.
