To install the batteries in the Uniden ADV25 Series UHF CB Transceiver, follow these steps:
1. Unlock the two screws on the battery cover by turning them counterclockwise.
2. Open the battery cover to access the battery compartment.
3. Install the three AA NiMH rechargeable batteries according to the orientation shown inside the battery compartment.
4. Close the battery cover and tighten the two screws clockwise to secure it.
Note: It is important to only use NiMH rechargeable batteries and not mix them with old, new, alkaline, or other battery types. Remove the batteries from the radio for storage to prevent corrosion. Charge the rechargeable NiMH batteries once every 3 months when not in use.
