To switch on the CONDTROL Xliner Combo 360 Laser Level, follow these steps:
1. Remove the battery cover and insert 4 AA alkaline batteries, making sure to observe the correct polarity.
2. Put the battery cover back on.
3. Place the laser level on a firm and stable surface or a tripod.
4. Move the compensator lock to choose the necessary operating mode:
- Automatic leveling mode: Move the lever lock to the ON position. The compensator is unlocked, and the power indicator becomes red. Short press the button to switch on the necessary laser planes. Short press the button again to switch on/off the pulse mode, which allows working with a laser receiver. To switch the laser level off, move the compensator lock to the locked position.
- Locked compensator mode: Move the compensator lock to the OFF position. The compensator is locked, and the power indicator becomes red. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to switch the laser level on. Short press the button to switch on the necessary laser planes. Short press the button again to switch on/off the pulse mode. To switch the laser level off, short press the button several times until all laser planes are off.
Note: It is recommended to switch the laser on only when you are ready to work to increase operating time and avoid the risk of unintentional blindness.
