To clean the Nesco ES-08 Electric Skillet, follow these steps:
1. Turn the temperature control to OFF and unplug the cord from the power outlet.
2. Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
3. Remove the temperature control from the unit and wipe it clean with a dry towel. Do not immerse the temperature control in water or any other liquid.
4. Allow the base of the skillet to cool completely. Absorb any excess water or grease from the base with a paper towel.
5. Do not immerse the skillet in water or any other liquid or place it in the dishwasher. Instead, wipe the skillet with soapy water and a soft cloth. The lid can be washed in soapy water or is dishwasher safe.
6. Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners, or metal scouring pads for cleaning this appliance.
7. Do not use metal utensils as they may scratch the non-stick surface.
It is important to note that the temperature-control probe, cord, and plug should not be immersed in water or any other liquid. Make sure the temperature control inlet, located on the side of the skillet, is completely dry before use.
