To clean and maintain the Russell Hobbs 24191-70 Compact Home Mini Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the stand and allow the kettle to cool before cleaning.
2. Wipe all surfaces of the kettle with a clean damp cloth.
3. Remove the lid of the kettle.
4. Push the hook on top of the filter down and lift the filter out of the kettle.
5. Rinse the filter under a running tap while brushing it with a soft brush.
6. Lower the filter back into the kettle and engage the bottom hook in the bottom of the spout.
7. Press the top of the filter towards the kettle to lock the hook in place.
8. Refit the lid of the kettle.
It is also recommended to descale the kettle regularly, at least once a month, to remove any mineral deposits. Use a proprietary descaler and follow the instructions provided with the descaler. Failure to descale the kettle may result in faults due to scale, which may not be covered under warranty.
