To clean the Varia05 Smart Temperature Control kettle, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the power is turned off before cleaning the kettle.
2. Do not immerse or submerge the kettle body and base in water or wash them with water.
3. Use a moist cloth or towel to wipe the kettle body and base. Make sure the cloth or towel is not wet, as no water should enter the base-kettle connection point.
4. Dry the surfaces thoroughly after cleaning.
5. Do not wipe the base-kettle connection point or the underside of the kettle, and do not wet them with water.
6. If there is any incrustation or scale on the base of the kettle heating element, you can use a standard descaler. It is recommended to use "Caffetto" cleaning products, but you can also consult your local coffee technician or kettle dealer for assistance.
