To connect the Aperion Audio Verus III Grand V5B Bookshelf Speakers to your amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the loudspeaker cable: Cut the loudspeaker cable to the desired length and strip the insulation from the ends.
2. Connect the loudspeaker cable to the binding posts: Locate the binding posts on the rear of the speaker cabinet. The Verus III Grand V5B Bookshelf Speakers have high-quality, gold-plated binding posts that can accommodate different connection systems.
- Banana plugs: If you are using banana plugs, insert the pins directly into the binding posts without any tightening necessary.
- Cable spades: If you are using cable spades, loosen the binding posts, insert the spade into the opening, and secure the spade by tightening the posts.
- Bare wires: If you are using bare wires, loosen the binding posts and place the stripped ends of the cable into the binding posts. Tighten the posts to secure the connection.
3. Connect the other end of the loudspeaker cable to your amplifier: Connect the other ends of the loudspeaker cable to the loudspeaker outputs on your amplifier. Make sure the amplifier is switched off before making the connections.
Note: The quality of the loudspeaker cable can have an impact on sound quality. It is recommended to use at least 14 AWG diameter cable for distances less than 15m. Ensure that all connectors are clean and not oxidized.
