To install the Klipsch CDT-5650-C II In-Ceiling Speaker, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired location for the speaker and mark the cutout dimensions (3" diameter) on the ceiling.
2. Use a keyhole saw or a drywall saw to carefully cut along the marked dimensions.
3. Connect the speaker wires to the speaker's terminals. Ensure that the positive (+) wire is connected to the positive terminal and the negative (-) wire is connected to the negative terminal.
4. Place the speaker into the cutout hole and align it properly.
5. Use the provided screws to secure the speaker to the ceiling. Make sure it is flush with the ceiling surface.
6. If desired, you can paint the speaker's frame and grille to match your ceiling using a paintable finish.
7. Repeat the above steps for additional speakers if you are installing a multi-speaker system.
8. Once all the speakers are installed, connect the speaker wires to your audio amplifier or receiver according to the manufacturer's instructions.
9. Test the speakers by playing audio and adjusting the positioning and direction of the tweeter and woofer to optimize the sound.
