To install the Whirlpool 27 Inch and 30 Inch Electric Microwave Oven Combination Flush, you will need to follow the installation requirements and instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Gather all the required tools and parts mentioned in the manual, such as a Phillips screwdriver, measuring tape, drill, level, and screws.
2. Ensure that you have the correct cabinet opening dimensions and a solid, level, and flush support surface for the oven.
3. Check with your builder or cabinet supplier to ensure that the materials used will not be damaged by the oven's heat.
4. Install the cleats and spacers in the cabinet cutout according to the dimensions provided in the manual. Make sure they are recessed 1 3/8" from the front of the cabinet.
5. Prepare the built-in microwave/oven combination by following the instructions provided in the manual, including making the electrical connection.
6. Remove the oven door by unlocking the hinge locks, partially closing the door, and lifting it off.
7. Position the oven feet by installing them on the spacers using screws. Make sure the long side of the feet faces the appropriate direction.
8. Replace the plastic spacers on the sides of the oven with new ones provided in the kit.
9. Lift the oven partially into the cabinet cutout, push it completely into the cabinet, and center it.
