To connect the Fostex PX-5 speakers to your computer, you will need a cable that is compatible with your computer's audio output. The PX-5 speakers have multiple input options, including XLR, 1/4" TS phone, and RCA.
If your computer has a 3.5mm headphone jack, you can use a 3.5mm TRS to dual RCA cable to connect the speakers. Plug the 3.5mm end into your computer's headphone jack and the RCA ends into the RCA input jacks on the speakers.
If your computer has a 1/4" TRS headphone jack, you can use a 1/4" TRS to RCA cable or a 1/4" TRS to 1/4" TRS cable, depending on the input jacks available on the speakers.
If your computer has XLR outputs, you can use an XLR cable to connect to the XLR input jack on the speakers.
Once you have the appropriate cable, simply connect one end to your computer's audio output and the other end to the corresponding input jack on the speakers. Make sure to match the left and right channels correctly.
Refer to the user manual for further instructions on setting up and adjusting the volume and tone controls of the PX-5 speakers.
