No, you should not dry items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes and wax removers in the Hotpoint D93WB Condenser Tumble Dryer. Additionally, items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber-backed articles, and clothes or pillows fitted with foam rubber pads should also not be dried in the tumble dryer. These substances and materials can be flammable and may pose a safety risk if dried in the appliance. It is important to remove all objects from pockets, such as lighters and matches, before using the tumble dryer. If industrial chemicals have been used to clean the tumble dryer, it should not be used for drying until it has been thoroughly cleaned.
