1. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery and jack up the front end of the truck. Support the frame rails with jack stands and remove the front tires.
2. Disconnect the sway bar from the end links and the factory brake line bracket from the lower coil spring perch on both sides.
3. Disconnect the track bar from the track bar bracket and save the hardware.
4. Remove the front shocks, coil springs, and upper rubber isolators from both sides. Save the lower shock hardware.
5. Remove the lower coil spring perch from the axle on both sides.
6. (Driver side only) Remove the driver side inner fender liner and locate the ABS module mounted to the factory spring perch. Remove and save the bolt attaching the bracket to the front of the spring perch. Remove the nuts attaching the L bracket together and the nuts attaching the bracket to the back side of the factory spring perch. Discard the factory bracket and save the hardware. For 2020 models, remove the factory bolt assembly attaching the ABS module to the coil bucket.
7. For 2017-2019 models, install the FT30664 ABS Bracket in the same location as the factory bracket previously removed using the factory nuts on the spring perch and the supplied 3/8” x 1-1/4” hardware. Torque to 52 ft-lbs. For 2020-2021 models, install two FT30929 ABS Module spacers between the ABS bracket and the upper shock mount bracket using the supplied 5/16” x 1-1/2” bolts, washers, and nuts.
8. Install the FT30688 ABS Tab using the factory and 5/16” hardware. Torque to 29 ft-lbs. Reinstall the fender liner.
9. Use the FT30728 Drill Guide to mark and drill three holes in the upper coil spring mount on both sides. Paint all bare areas.
10. Cut off the locator tube on the upper coil spring perch using a reciprocating saw or cut off wheel. Sand to a smooth finish.
11. Drill the three holes marked in step 9 using a 1/2” drill bit. Paint all bare areas.
12. Repeat steps 10-11 on the passenger side.
13. Install the driver and passenger upper coilover mounts using the supplied bushings, misalignments, and hardware. Torque to specified values.
14. Install the driver and passenger lower coilover mounts onto the axle using the factory shock hardware and M14 x 30mm bolt and washer. Torque to specified values.
15. Install the resi can to the resi mount using the supplied clamps.
16. If installing the 6” Coilovers, install the sway bar drop brackets and sway bar relocator using the supplied hardware. Reconnect the track bar.
17. Install the factory brake line bracket to the new lower coilover mount using the supplied 1/4” hardware.
18. Install tires and wheels and torque lug nuts to the manufacturer's specifications. Check for appropriate tire clearance.
19. Check the front-end alignment and adjust as necessary.
