To properly connect the Pyle PDIC61RD 2 Way Speaker System to your amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Make sure that the wires for both speakers are the same length. If one speaker is placed closer to the amplifier than the other, hide the excess wire behind the wall.
2. Identify the corresponding (+) and (-) terminals on both the speakers and the amplifier. The (+) terminal is denoted by red, and the (-) terminal is denoted by black.
3. Connect the (+) terminal on the speaker to the (+) terminal on the amplifier, and connect the (-) terminal on the speaker to the (-) terminal on the amplifier. It is important to connect both speakers identically to ensure proper sound reproduction.
4. Ensure that the wiring is in phase, meaning that the positive and negative terminals are connected correctly. Wiring out of phase can result in thin sound, weak bass, and a poor stereo image.
5. If you have a multi-channel surround sound system, make sure to connect all of the speakers with the correct polarity to preserve the proper ambience and directionality of the program material.
