Here are the steps for installing the HAVIT Lightning HV1315T 9 in 1 Tivah Double Adjustable Wall Pillar Lights:
1. Make sure that the electrical circuit is free of voltage (master switch off).
2. Loosen the allen screws on the side of the base and separate the mounting bracket from the fitting.
3. Install the backing plate securely using appropriate screws for the application. Seal all holes in the backing plate, including cable entry and xxxx holes, to avoid any water penetration. Failure to do so will void the warranty.
4. Connect the cable using wire with an earth. Connect the earth wire first, then the live and neutral wires.
5. Affix the fitting to the mounting bracket and tighten the allen screws, making sure they are tight to avoid any water penetration.
6. Apply silicon seal around the whole base plate to prevent water from getting into the electrical connections.
7. The color temperature and wattage are preset to 3000k and 7w. To change, remove the covers from the fitting by twisting anti-clockwise and set them aside. Remove the globes and select the desired color temperature and wattage by moving the switches on the side of the globes. Reinsert the globes into the lampholders.
8. Reattach the covers by turning them clockwise, making sure the seals are still in place and the caps are tight to avoid any water penetration.
9. Adjust the fitting to the desired position, making sure to stop rotating when the fitting cannot rotate anymore. Forcing the fitting to rotate further can cause internal cables to become entangled, resulting in a short circuit. If this happens, the warranty will be voided.
10. All connections must be carried out carefully. Inspect all contacts before switching back on the electric circuit.
