To upgrade the power cord on your Ergotron 98-582-1 StyleView Power Cord Upgrade Kit for LiFe Carts, please follow these steps:
1. Turn off all mounted equipment and disconnect the Power System from the power source.
2. Turn off the power system by holding down the AC Outlet Power button for 1-3 seconds. The power light will shut off.
3. Remove the rear base cover.
4. Remove the retainer bracket.
5. Unplug the power cord and remove it from the cart.
6. Attach the new power box.
7. Insert the bracket into the T-slot at an angle.
8. Rotate the bracket so it catches inside the slot.
9. Slide the bracket down until it stops and tighten it to secure.
10. Plug in the power box.
11. Flip the retainer up and attach the new rear base cover.
12. Flip the retainer down, hang the power cord on the hook, and plug it into the base.
13. Flip the retainer up to secure the power cord.
