To assemble and install the Hillrom A-93005 Allen Traction Boot, follow these steps:

1. Inspect the product for any visible damage or sharp edges before use.
2. Clean and disinfect the product before each use.
3. For the modular version of the boot, loosen the boot rotation xxxx and remove it from the boot. Place the modular attachment onto the boot, ensuring the rubber disk is on. Tighten the boot rotation xxxx securely.
4. For installation onto Mizuho OSI Systems, remove the existing OSI Traction Boot (and footplate, if present) from the traction unit. Fully insert the Allen Traction Boot for Mizuho OSI Systems into the traction unit and tighten the top xxxx securely.
5. For installation onto Steris Systems, remove the existing Steris Traction Boot (and footplate, if present) from the traction unit. Fully insert the Steris Plate into the traction unit and tighten the xxxx securely.
6. Prepare the boot by loosening the ratchet buckle and the middle strap. Undo the buckles and lay the straps outside of the boot.
7. For disposable usage, place the disposable with the ink side down and place the ankle on the circle cutout. Wrap the ankle section around the patient's ankle and secure it with the Velcro strap. Wrap the calf section around the patient's calf and secure it with two Velcro straps. Wrap the foot section around the patient's foot and secure it with the Velcro strap.
8. Place the patient's foot in the boot so that the dotted outline on the disposable sits directly on the blue pad. Buckle the middle buckle around the ankle, ensuring the strap is directly over the top of the ankle. Pull on the lever of the ratchet buckle and tighten the ankle strap until secure. Buckle the toe and calf buckles and tighten them by pulling on the two straps.
9. Check all connections of the boot to ensure they are secure.
10. The boot can be rotated and adjusted for dorsiflexion and plantarflexion as needed.
11. To remove the boot, unbuckle the straps around the toe, ankle, and calf. Lift the foot out of the boot and turn the xxxx to remove the boot.
