To set the wattage on the SEALEY SD4080 40/80W Professional Dual Wattage Soldering Iron, you need to slide the switch to either position 'I' or 'II' for the desired wattage setting. Position 'I' corresponds to the 40W setting, while position 'II' corresponds to the 80W setting. Make sure to leave the soldering iron on the stand to heat up after plugging it into the mains supply and selecting the desired wattage. Once the iron is up to temperature, you can start using it for soldering. Remember to slide the switch to the '0' position and unplug the iron from its supply when you are finished working and allow it to fully cool before storing it away.
