To adjust the heat settings on the Lasko CD08200 Portable Ceramic Space Heater, follow these steps:
1. Plug the heater into a 120-volt outlet.
2. Press the Power Button on the top of the heater to turn it on.
3. The heater will initially be in High heat (1500 Watts) with a 1-hour time setting. This is indicated by the steady light above 1 hour.
4. To switch to High heat with no time setting, press the Power Button a second time.
5. To switch to Low heat, press the Power Button a third time.
6. To turn off the heater, press the Power Button a fourth time.
Please note that the time setting only works in High heat. The low heat setting does not have a timer. Make sure to unplug the heater when not in use and follow all safety precautions mentioned in the manual.
