To adjust the temperature on the BLACK+DECKER BHDS156 Electric Heater, follow these steps:
1. Turn the thermostat xxxx clockwise (right) direction until it reaches the maximum setting.
2. Turn the heat control xxxx clockwise (right) from the OFF position to the desired heat setting: FAN ONLY, LOW (750 watts), or HIGH (1500 watts).
3. The power indicator light will turn on when either the FAN, LOW, or HIGH setting is selected.
4. When the desired temperature/comfort level is reached, lower the thermostat xxxx until the heater stops operating. The thermostat will automatically maintain the desired temperature level by cycling the heater on and off.
5. Note that turning the TEMPERATURE control xxxx clockwise will increase the temperature setting.
6. To shut off the unit, turn the fan/heat control xxxx to "OFF".
