To connect the Kono KN-S-AMZ-004 Wifi Enabled Smart Thermostat to your home network, please follow these steps:
1. After the thermostat powers up, it will guide you through the initial system configuration. Use the xxxx to change options and press the xxxx to confirm your selection.
2. Set your system type by selecting "F" for Furnace or Boiler, or "HP" for Heat Pump.
3. Set the fan type to Gas (most common), Electric (for systems without gas or oil), or Boiler (no fan).
4. Set the valve type to O or B, depending on your wiring configuration. Refer to the photo of your wiring to determine which valve type you have.
5. After confirming your system settings, the thermostat will ask if you would like to connect to the network. Select "ON" to begin the connection process.
6. Make sure you have downloaded the LUX Products App to your smartphone and created an account.
7. If you are using an iOS device (iPhone or iPad), open the LUX App and tap the "+" icon to add a new accessory. Select the accessory ID that starts with "LUX KONO" to start the connection process. Follow the instructions in the App, and when prompted, use your device's camera to scan the HomeKit Code located under the Décor-snap cover of the thermostat.
8. If you are using an Android device, open the LUX App and tap the "+" icon to add a new thermostat. Follow the prompts to join your KONO's WiFi network using your phone's WiFi settings. The network name and password can be found under the Décor-snap cover. After connecting your thermostat to the network, select your home WiFi network from the list in the App and enter your password.
9. Once the connection process is complete, you will see the thermostat's home screen, indicating that it is connected to the network. You can now replace the Décor-snap cover.
