To install the Whitecroft lighting Helm Asymmetric MSU Anti Ligature Cover Kit, follow these steps:
Step 1: Hold the Ceiling Bracket up to the ceiling and secure it in place using screws. Mark out the inner aperture (1185mm x 134mm +3/-0) and the 16 bezel holding holes through the nutserts.
Step 2: Drill the 16 marked holes with a 10mm drill bit. Ensure that the holes are drilled vertically to align with the ceiling bracket nutserts.
Step 3: Lift and tilt the ceiling bracket into the ceiling void, placing the nutserts facing up. Bend down the holding tabs on the edges of the aperture and align the holes drilled in step 2 with the ceiling bracket cagenuts. xxxx the ceiling bracket to the ceiling aperture edge using the 6x sidescrews provided to secure it in place. Ensure the xxxx heads are as flush as possible.
Step 4: Install the Helm Asymmetric light fixture according to its own installation instructions, ensuring the light distribution is in the correct orientation. Note that the cover kit is only compatible with a maximum ceiling thickness of 40mm.
Step 5: Remove the film from both sides of the cover. Stack up the Spacer Bezel and Cover, ensuring the counterbores for the screws are facing down. Lift them up to the product and xxxx the 16 anti-tamper screws through the ceiling into the ceiling bracket. Engage the screws by hand, ensuring the caged nuts are not dislodged. Tighten the screws sufficiently (torque to 2Nm) and ensure the bezel and cover are pulled up flush all the way around. Use a security Allen key or bit (sold separately HAL-KEY3 or a 3mm security hex key) to tighten the screws.
