To connect the Brother MFC-J1800DW printer to your wireless network, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure your wireless access point/router is turned on and functioning properly.
2. On the printer's control panel, press the "Settings" button.
3. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Network" or "Wireless" menu.
4. Select "Wi-Fi Setup" or "Wireless Setup" and press "OK".
5. Choose "Setup Wizard" and press "OK".
6. The printer will search for available wireless networks. Select your network from the list and press "OK".
7. If prompted, enter your network password using the printer's keypad. Use the arrow keys to navigate through the characters and press "OK" to confirm each character.
8. After entering the password, the printer will attempt to connect to your wireless network. Once connected, the LCD display will show "Connected".
9. To confirm the connection, print a network configuration page. Press the "Settings" button, navigate to the "Network" or "Wireless" menu, and select "Print Network Configuration" or a similar option.
10. The network configuration page will display the printer's IP address and other network settings. Verify that the IP address is within the range of your wireless network.
Your Brother MFC-J1800DW printer is now connected to your wireless network. You can proceed to install the necessary software on your computer or mobile device to start printing wirelessly.
