To connect the Canon DR-M160II Office Document Scanner to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements, which include having Windows 7 or a compatible operating system.
2. Locate the USB cable that came with the scanner.
3. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the scanner.
4. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
5. Turn on the scanner by pressing the power button.
6. Wait for your computer to recognize the scanner. It may prompt you to install the necessary drivers and software.
7. If prompted, insert the installation CD that came with the scanner and follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers and software. Alternatively, you can download the latest drivers and software from the Canon website.
