To clean and maintain the SuperFish 1000 Multi-Power Eco Multi-Purpose Pump, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the pump from the power source by removing the plug from the socket.
2. Disconnect the pump from the hose.
3. Rinse the housing of the pump under the tap to remove any debris or dirt.
4. Use a brush to clean the rotor, the bottom, and the housing thoroughly.
5. Rinse everything with clean tap water.
6. Reassemble the pump by placing the rotor back into the pump and tightening the screws to secure the bottom.
7. Depending on usage, the rotor may get worn out or damaged. If needed, you can purchase a new rotor from your dealer.
8. It is recommended to clean the pump at least twice a year to ensure trouble-free operation.
9. For proper cleaning and descaling, you can use SuperFish Pump & UVC Clean (Art. 07070500), which is available from your dealer.
Please note that failure to clean and maintain the pump properly may result in scale build-up and can cause the pump to cease. There is no warranty on failures due to dirty pumps and scale build-up caused by improper or lack of maintenance.
