To properly connect the acv 13-1190-55 Active System Adapter to your car equipped with a COMAND System and OEM CD changer, please follow these instructions:
1. Connect pin 5 of the adapter to ground in your car.
2. Connect pin 6 of the adapter to a switched +12V power source in your car.
Note: It is important to connect pin 6 to a switched +12V power source; otherwise, you will not have any sound.
3. Make sure not to connect the D2B wire in your car to the +12V remote out. Doing so will destroy the interface and void the warranty.
Please note the following important points:
- If your car has an Audio 10 / Audio 30 HU and CD changer, you will need to connect the 10 PIN ISO connector. Connect PIN 5 to GND and PIN 6 to a switched +12V power source.
- Before installation, it is recommended to check with your OEM device to ensure compatibility.
- Improper installation or utilization may result in damage, and we will not be liable for such damage.
- To prevent product failure, always use the specified accessory parts.
