To set up the STARKLINE PN48164KT Electric Netting Kit, follow these steps:
1. Clear the fence line: Remove tall grass, weeds, brush, or any obstructions along the anticipated fence line, as debris can lower conductivity and effectiveness.
2. Remove strings from the netting: Open the kit and ensure you have all the components. Remove the strings tied around the netting and posts.
3. Lay out the posts: Hold the posts and walk backward, laying out one post at a time while unfolding the entire roll of netting. Drop each post in the proper sequence along the fence line.
4. Insert posts into the ground & tie ends together: Step each post into the ground. For best results, connect the two ends of the netting by tying the "pigtails" at the end of the first and last post together.
5. Support your netting: Thread the rope through the groove at the top of each corner post and tie it securely. Stake each rope into the ground to prevent sagging.
6. Energizer & ground rod: Insert the ground rod into the soil within a 20-foot radius of your energizer. Attach the energizer to the fence by clamping the positive jumper clip to the metal clips and the negative jumper clip to the ground rod.
For more detailed instructions on operating and attaching your specific energizer, consult the energizer's user manual.
Once set up, your STARKLINE Electric Netting Kit is ready to keep your crops or livestock safe. For additional information or a video version of the instructions, visit Starklinenet.com or scan the provided QR code.
Note: Always ensure safety by disconnecting the energizer before dismantling or moving the netting. Improper folding or rolling may result in tangling.
